The Massey-Harris Company was formed in 1891 when The Massey Manufacturing Co. and A. Harris & Son merged. The Massey-Harris Company started to manufacture tractors in 1917 Their first attempt was the US made Bull tractor, which was sold in Canada as a Massey-Harris. The Bull Tractor Co. failed in 1919. Massey-Harris then sold tractors based on Chicago made Parrett designs. They then attempted another US made tractor and marketed it as a Massey-Harris was the Wallis 20-30 made by J. I. Case Plow Co. of Racine, Wisconsin.
They bought Racine factory in 1928 the and sold the J. I. Case Plow Co. name to the J. I. Case Threshing Machine Co. Massey-Ferguson tractors eventually became the largest tractor company in the world. I came about out of the merger of three agricultural companies. This took several decades but eventually it out passed Ford which was for many years the dominate farm tractor manufacture. Ferguson Tractors were merged with Massey-Harris of Toronto in July 1953

This tractor is owned by David Killam, Woodville Nova Scotia
David had the following to say about the tractor,
Thought you might like to add a photo of my 1934 Massey Harris 12-20
orchard. At present this is the only known 12-20 orchard tractor in the
world that is complete and in running condition. This tractor was bought
new by my Grandfather in 1934, and has always been in the family.
